More about this journey

This online guide is structured across nine modules. It takes you from the confusion, panic and constant back and forth of a breakup towards seeing the relationship, your options and what is best for you more clearly.

When you’re missing them, afraid of the unknown and still holding onto the future you pictured together, it can be hard to see beyond what you’re feeling in that moment. Add other people’s opinions, your own fear, pain and loneliness, and the noise can make it even harder to hear yourself. All of this can leave you questioning whether you want to go back or just want the pain to stop.

This guide helps you look at the whole landscape more clearly, so you can begin to work out what is best for you. It won’t decide whether you should go back or begin again. That answer has to be yours.

What’s Inside

What is happening in your brain and body after a breakup

Understand the panic, brain fog and looping thoughts, so you can stop wondering why even simple decisions feel so hard.

Make sense of the pull to reconnect and why you can feel steady one moment, then overwhelmed with doubt the next.

Support for when panic, longing or uncertainty makes it hard to think clearly.

Understand why it can help and what it can look like when cutting contact isn’t possible.

Notice the thinking traps and stories you keep replaying, so you can begin separating what happened from what fear, pain or hope is telling you.

Explore what it was really like, what has changed and the cost of staying, leaving or returning.

A guided worksheet to help you cut through the thoughts and doubts that can come from fear, pain and other people’s opinions, so you can see the full picture and begin to work out what is best for you.

Support to release whatever you choose, whether that’s the person, the relationship or the future you pictured together.

Apply what you’re learning to your own relationship instead of turning the same questions over in your head.

Return to the teachings, tools and reflections whenever you need them.

This Guide Is Designed For:

Women who have been through or are going through a breakup and keep going back and forth about whether to return to the relationship or begin again. They want to understand what is happening inside them, process what they’re going through, look honestly at the relationship and work towards their own clarity.

This Guide Is Not Designed For You If:

You are looking for someone or something to decide whether you should stay, leave or return to the relationship.

You are looking for a quick answer without working through the teachings, reflections and exercises inside the guide.

You need individual support to talk through the specific details and circumstances of your breakup. This is a self guided resource and does not include personalised coaching.

You need specialist support to work through betrayal trauma, addiction or another complex issue that sits beyond the scope of this guide.

You need the guide to provide therapy, diagnosis, mental health treatment or clinical care.

You are having thoughts of suicide or self harm, feel unable to keep yourself safe or need immediate crisis support. This guide can support you in working through the confusion of a breakup, but it is not designed to support someone through a mental health crisis.

There has been violence, abuse, threatening behaviour or any other safety concern within the relationship. This guide is not designed to help people through those situations. This is not a risk assessment and should not be used to decide whether it is safe to stay or leave.

A Note About Support

This guide is intended as a reflective companion. It is not a substitute for therapy, medical care or professional mental health support.

Heartbreak and grief can bring up things that go deeper than the ending of one relationship. If anything you are experiencing feels too heavy or overwhelming to hold on your own, please reach out to a qualified professional or an appropriate support service.

This may include thoughts of self harm, feeling unable to cope or keep yourself safe, feelings that frighten you, memories from your past that feel overwhelming, addiction, betrayal trauma, experiences of abuse or violence, or any situation in which you feel unsafe.

If you need mental health or crisis support, you can find a service in your country through:
